Flat and grippy on one side and SPD click system on the other. The Shimano PD-EH500 duo pedal is the alternative for anyone who finds a pure SPD pedal too restrictive. The popular Shimano Light Action technology also makes it pleasantly easy to click on and off.

The PD-EH500 from Shimano is a robust and versatile multifunctional pedal that has a normal contact surface on the one hand and an SPD click mechanism on the other, so that it can also be used as a clipless pedal. The range of use is therefore broad, as the normal contact surface makes it possible to use the pedal with road shoes on the way into town or to work. For more ambitious tours, the click mechanism can be used with the appropriate shoes for an even firmer grip on the pedal and more efficient power transmission. The pedal is therefore also ideal for beginners who want to try out riding with clipless pedals. The release force can be infinitely adjusted, while the very robust compact bearings are largely maintenance-free.
