Fast, faster, NEO!
FOX presented the first generation of the TRANSFER in 2016, and since then the terms Vario seatpost, dropper post etc. have become an integral part of the mountain bike industry.
The gain in riding fun and, above all, riding safety has been significantly increased by this component. While the first posts of their kind were mostly routed externally, then tidied up inside the frame, FOX is now taking the next step:
The transfer becomes electric and dispenses with any cables and cables. The suffix "NEO" indicates this. This specially developed Neo radio system now takes over the job of adjustment. According to Fox, it transmits signals 100 times faster than Bluetooth and 20 times faster than competitors' electronic models. A small pairing button allows direct connection to the remote without an app.
The inner workings are based on the 2025 FOX Transfer and also offer convenient adjustment of the extension speed via the air pressure. There is an auto-valve under the saddle clamp, which can be filled with a fork pump (max. 325 psi). A small LED provides the necessary information about the battery capacity so that you are always informed about the status of the battery. The following levels are available:
- Green: up to 25%
- Yellow: 10 - 25%
- Red: below 10%
REMOTE
As usual, the seatpost is controlled via the remote on the handlebars. Thanks to three different mounting methods, you can integrate the controller perfectly into your cockpit. The scope of delivery includes a classic 22.2 mm clamp, as well as an I-SPEC EV and a Matchmaker clamp. The lever is rubberized and offers you a secure grip even in poor weather conditions. A CR2032 button cell with a service life of around 8 months is used inside and can be easily replaced. A small pairing button allows direct connection to the seatpost without an app.
FOX BIKE APP
FOX rounds off the product and presents the new FOX Bike App. This gives you control over the Transfer NEO and its controller. Whether you want to pair the individual components, keep an eye on the service intervals or activate other functions such as the transport mode to save battery power or the bike park mode to prevent accidental extension of the post on the descent.
BATTERY and CHARGER
The replaceable battery required for adjustment is located on the collar of the seatpost and, in conjunction with the low insertion depth, enables a high degree of freedom of movement and maximum clearance to the tire when retracted.
The battery has a running time of 30 to 40 hours; after 5 minutes of inactivity, the technology switches to sleep mode and thus helps the battery capacity. A small LED always shows you the charge level. The charging time with the supplied charger is between 1 hour and 15 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes. The battery provides the basis for future NEO products and the FOX Live Valve NEO system.
KASHIMA COAT
The Kashima coating for a smooth ride feel is exclusive to FOX. It offers outstanding overall performance, ensures minimal friction and optimum responsiveness with maximum durability.
